Guest Services Manager

About us: New Jersey Repertory Company, a nationally acclaimed non-profit professional theatre located steps away from the Jersey Shore seeks a part-time Guest Services Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations during performances and other scheduled events at both NJRep and NJRep West End.

About the position: Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Artistic Director and the Volunteer Coordinator and Production Stage Manager, the Guest Services Manager oversees all aspects of the guest experience during all performances at both NJRep and NJRep West End. This position is responsible all front-of-house activities including audience check-in, on-site box office needs, and providing welcoming services prior to, during, and post-performance, and closing and locking up the venues. Candidates from underrepresented populations are strongly encouraged to apply. Please note, this position requires nights and weekend hours. Parking is provided.

Master Electrician

Reports to: Lighting Designer, Production Manager
Position Status: Hourly, Temporary, Non-Exempt
Salary: $28 to $30/hour

About us: New Jersey Repertory Company, a nationally acclaimed non-profit professional theatre located steps away from the Jersey Shore, seeks part-time Master Electrician.

About the position: Reporting to the Lighting Designer and working closely with the Production Manager the Master Electrician should have ideally 3+ years of experience as an ME, no degree necessary, and must have knowledge of how to reach and hang a plot. Must know ETC lighting products (LED Light Fixtures, DMX Protocol). Must be able to supervise and hire a small lighting team. Currently this is a freelance position as we need someone every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the run of each show. Candidates from underrepresented populations are strongly encouraged to apply. Freelance Scenic Carpenter

Salary: $18 to $30/hour, depending on experience

About the position: Position requires a general understanding of the scenery construction and installation process. Must be capable and willing to assist with load-in and load-out. Must be proficient in use of hand and power tools. Must be punctual and reliable. Must be able to work well independently and cooperatively as a member of a team. 2+ years of experience in the industry preferred but not required. Ability to interpret drawings for construction is a plus. Must comply with all safety and security procedures related to Covid-19 and company policies. Must have reliable transportation.
