Script Submissions
Thank you for your interest in NJRep! NJRep’s mission is to develop and produce new plays for the American stage. NJRep has two intimate theatres and one large auditorium space. NJRep selects 15-20 plays for staged readings per season and selects 5-6 plays for full productions.
As of January 1st, 2019, NJRep will no longer be accepting unsolicited play submissions, except from literary agents, managers, and industry professionals. We thank you for your cooperation.
We currently cannot consider plays that require more than 4 actors. NJRep prefers plays that are previously unproduced and unpublished.
We are currently only considering full-length plays, so please do not submit pieces that run under 75 minutes.

- Synopsis of play
- Character Breakdown
- Production History and Relevant Press Materials
- Musicals should include MP3’s of songs
- Contact phone and email for notification
