The author of More Fun than Bowling sets his newest thriller in a New York bar about to be demolished. Adam, a young graduate student, finds himself caught in a web of intrigue as he grapples with questions about his impending marriage, his late father's best friend (who may be a paranoid schizophrenic), and a mysterious stranger who appears to knows far more than he should about the 9/11 attacks. Suddenly outlandish theories become dangerous realities. Coincidence or conspiracy?
