An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy with Aaron Kominos-Smith and Sonya Vai

Monday, May 8 at 7:00 pm

Headliner Aaron Kominos-Smith has appeared on Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer, Live at Gotham on the Oculus NextVR Network, MTV, and American Movie Classic. Audiences connect instantly with Aaron's charming wit and energetic characters. His humor varies from observational thoughts on the mundane to articulated commentary about society sprinkled with a few dashes of wackiness. Simultaneously performing comedy and studying architecture in college, Aaron went on to work as a professional architect. After he realized that buildings take years to complete while a joke can instantly bring people joy, he made the switch from constructing buildings to constructing jokes. Aaron regularly works the clubs in New York City along with touring colleges across the country and is excited to perform for you next!
Feature Sonya Vai, comedian, actor and writer, was born and raised in New York City but is constantly asked "where are you really from?" by drunk men in bars. Sonya's subversive brand of comedy - challenging not only gender but ethnic and religious stereotypes - has been featured at comedy clubs as well as independent shows across the country. Last year she opened for the 'PBS Socal Presents' film screening of the award winning documentary Meet The Patels. She was also on the 'Comedy's Best Kept Secret' tour in 2016, performing in 25 shows over 23 days across 21 cities from Vegas to NY. You can find her performing in clubs across the US.
