Davis Hall

Davis appeared opposite Salome Jens in Memoir at the New Jersey Rep. Most recently: Amadeus at The Indiana Repertory Theatre, Ten Little Indians at the Dorset Playhouse, New-Found-Land in London, The School for Scandal at the McCarter, Victor/Victoria at the Paper Mill Playhouse, The Guiding Light and As the World Turns. Other roles include Dr. Rank (Nora, Capital Rep); Henry/Aunt Augusta (Travels with My Aunt, NJ Shakespeare Festival); Hercule Poirot (Black Coffee, Dorset Playhouse); Elwood P. Dowd (Harvey, Theatre Virginia); Jane/Lord Edgar (The Mystery of Irma Vep, Syracuse Stage); The Duke (Measure for Measure, Lark Theatre Company); and Charlie (The Foreigner, here & there). His wife, Ingrid Price, is the costume designer for Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Glenn B. Stoops

Glenn has performed at NJ Rep in Theatre Brut I-IV, the readings of Home Movies, The Hard Way, Lapse of Reason, and in the short lived cult favorite, Underground Rep. Other local appearances include work with Dorothy Parker Day and Arsenic and Old Lace at Shadowlawn Theater. John Lombardi

John received his BA in theatre from Roger Williams U., and his MA in speech and theatre from Montclair State U., where he was also employed as an adjunct professor. John has performed in NY and throughout the US with the award-winning children's theatre company Theatreworks USA, bringing theatre to young audiences all across the country in such roles as Ferdinand in Columbus and Theodore Sr. in Teddy Roosevelt. His stock and regional theatre credits include El Gallo in The Fantasticks (Worcester Foothills), Garfinkle in Other People's Money (Public Theatre, ME.), Matt in Tally's Folly, Jules in Sunday In The Park With George, Don Quixote in Man Of La Mancha and the gangster Frankie Scarpini in the revival of Fiorello! with Tom Bosley (Westbury Music Fair). Recently he appeared at the Forum Theater in The Jazz Singer and at NJ Rep in the readings of Lying in State, Maggie Rose and in the mainstage production of Harry and Thelma in the Woods.

Douglas Scott Sorenson

Douglas Scott Sorenson most recently originated the role of Mark in the World Premiere of Cody Daigle's Providence. Other New York credits include: the revival of Wendy MacLeod's Sin (Abingdon Theatre), Women and Wallace (Space @ 24), Salome (Todo Con Nada), The Ridiculous Young Ladies (Random Arts), A Little Piece of the Sun (NY Fringe 02), Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse (Manhattan Children's Theatre), and Bitch Macbeth (Access Theatre), among others. Regional Theatre: The Whipping Man (Luna Stage Company), The Last Bridge, In Between & Celedine (George Street Playhouse), Romeo and Juliet & Lost in Yonkers (The Long Center), The Rimers of Eldrich & David and Lisa (The Monon Theatre), and Journey of Discovery (The National Theatre). Eric Starker

Eric Starker, a member of Actor's Equity, recently moved to the East Coast in January of 2006. Local work includes Schoolhouse Rock Live (DeBaun Players), demo recordings (Broadway-bound Brave New World, At the Party, and upcoming Ovates), and several readings (Pye: the Musical, Emerging Artists Theatre, Pilates: the Musical, La Mama, and Esther, Queen of Persia). Previous regional credits include Snow White and Several Dweebs (Oregon Cabaret Theatre), South Pacific (Willows Theatre), Becoming Memories (Center Rep), Pirates of Penzance (Village Theatre), Roberta (starring Kathryn Crosby, at 42nd Street Moon), and the workshop of Insignificant Others (Jon Sims Center). Al Mohrmann

Al was recently seen in Centenary Stage Company's Alice in Ireland and. Al was last heard there as the voice of Byron Weld, the ailing radio DJ in Park Your Car in Harvard Yard. In the Fall, Al appeared at Centenary as Prosecutor Smith in The Tillie Project. Al has been a working actor for the past twenty years. During that span he has worked in theatre, film, television, commercials, and industrial films. In January he completed an eight-week run of Big Boys, a play co-produced by the New Jersey Repertory Company and Playwright’s Theatre of New Jersey. In two earlier visits to NJ Rep., Al appeared as Jerry in the East Coast premiere of Maggie Rose, and as Fred in the world premiere of Till Morning Comes. Al has performed in a Murder Mystery while cruising down the Nile in Egypt, and in a wide variety of other Murder Mysteries in many exotic - and some not so exotic – locations around the world. Other favorite acting roles include Johnny in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune at the Gallery Players in Brooklyn; Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet at the Ozark Actor’s Theatre in Missouri; Artie in House of Blue Leaves at The Height’s Players in Brooklyn; Morrell in Candida at The Seventh Sign in NYC; and James in A Circle on the Cross at The Open Eye, also in NYC. Al has an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University (where he was also a Warner Teaching Fellow), and an MA in English Literature from the University of Michigan. Al would like to thank his wonderful wife Jessica, and his beautiful daughter Gillian, for letting him spend time at the theatre and play.

Philip Lynch

Philip (AEA) received his B.F.A. in Acting from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. His New York credits include Candide (78th Street Theatre Lab), Medea (Duality Playhouse), Boys in Bars (featuring Kevin Bacon), Flash, Adrift, and Sunday Morning. In Philadelphia, Philip starred in The Virgin Molly and When She Danced at the Wilma Theatre, Of Mice and Men at the Philadelphia Drama Guild, Don Juan, The Winters Tale, and Treasure Island at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts, and played the lead in Live Long, Drink Juice, an independent film. Most recently, Philip was seen in NJ Rep's Main Stage production of Ends. In addition, he has appeared in staged readings of The Horrors of Doctor Moreau, Past Palpable, Maggots, For the Love Juliet, Strangers in the Night with Kelly Bishop, and Greytop in Love with Kim Hunter and Bob Emmett.

Burt Edwards

Burt appeared at NJ Rep in the mainstage productions of Piaf in Vienna and Immortal Interlude, as well as the staged readings of Immortal Interlude, The Dead Boy, and The Speck of Dust in Bugsy's Eye with Kim Hunter, directed by Peter Bennett, with whom he worked at Pittsburgh Public Theatre in The Cocktail Hour. Prior to the Pittsburgh engagement, he had appeared in the Gurney play in New York, Cleveland and Paper Mill Playhouse. Burt was in the farewell Yul Brynner production of The King and I at the Broadway Theatre and was also on Broadway in Shaw's Getting Married. Since then he has worked in regional theatres across the nation, as well as appearing in most soap operas and twice on Law and Order.

Peter Zazzali

Peter's professional acting experience includes work with: NY Theatre: Target Margin Theatre Co., Ensemble Studio Theatre, Metropolitan Playhouse, Judith Shakespeare Co., and the American Globe Theatre. Regional Theatre: George St. Playhouse, Portland Stage Co., North Shore Music Theatre, PCPA Theaterfest, American Shakespeare Theatre, Theatre at Monmouth, and the Utah, Fort Worth, and New Jersey Shakespearean Festivals. As a director Peter has worked for Dixon Place, Riant Theatre, Genesius Guild, Shadowlawn Summerstage, and the Professional Performing Arts High School where he also teaches acting. Peter received his training at Calarts and the University of Delaware.

Brian O'Halloran

Brian has been primarily acting in independent films. His credits include Kevin Smith's Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Groupies, Dogma and Vulgar. A recent feature, Drop Dead Rose will be at the Phoenix Film Festival this spring. His theater credits include: Sylvia, Wait Until Dark, The Glass Menagerie, The Dresser, Dracula, and Crimes of the Heart. He starred in A World I Never Made at NJ Rep and An Unhappy Woman, and has also performed in several staged readings including Belial, The Body Guard, Panama, Looking for Love, The Good Daughter and Sight to See. He starred in the animated TV series Clerks. It is also being made into a feature film due to be released next year. Most recently he appeared in Kevin Smith's, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and was seen on The Tonight Show in the 10-minute film The Flying Car.

Kurt Elftmann

Kurt Elftmann is a veteran stage actor and a member of Actor's Equity Association as well as SAG and AFTRA who currently resides in New York City. He received his professional training at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy as well as in private study with his mentor the late Judy Magee. During a career that has garnered him several awards and honors, among them five OOBR Awards, Kurt has worked with such notable talents as Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei, as well as Tony Award winners Anthony LaPaglia, Lillias White, Chuck Cooper, Pamela Isaacs and Lorraine Serabian. His off-Broadway appearances have included performances in Blue Light Theater Company's award winning revival of Clifford Odets' Waiting for Lefty, directed by Joanne Woodward as well as creating several roles in the original workshop production of Cy Coleman and Ira Gasman's Tony Award winning The Life, directed and choreographed by Joe Layton. From the beginning of his career Kurt has enjoyed being part of the new works development process and that commitment has continued with participation in ground breaking companies like New York's Expanded Arts, Hypothetical Theater Company and Workshop Theater. Kurt is also an original member of New Jersey Repertory Company and has been pleased to call it his artistic home-away-from-home, having taken part in many readings and two full productions; Octet and Slave Shack. Film work includes appearances in Happy Hour, with Mr. LaPaglia and Eric Stoltz and the romantic interest in the upcoming Slice. In December ’06 Kurt will appear with Keir Dullea in the premiere production of the new play Strings in New York.

Frank Licato

Frank Licato (Actor/Director) has been in the business for over 30 years and an actor, director, producer and teacher.. He has worked with such theatre luminaries as Joseph Chaiken and Peter Brook and he was named best actor in Boston for his performance as Lt. Vukov in the American premiere of Barry Collin's Judgment. He consistently made the best actor list for his varied performances in the New England city and he was nominated for an Obie award for his performance in Deathwatch by Jean Genet, which the New York Times called a 'performance on another plane'. Regionally he has worked at the American Repertory Theatre, the Delaware Theatre Company and the Boston Shakespeare Company. He has appeared on TV in Third Watch, Sidney Lumet's 100 Centre Street and with Frank Sinatra in First Deadly Sin to name a few. His directing career has been just as varied and he has worked with some of New York's best actors, including Edie Falco, Vincent Pastore, John Ventimiglia and Gia Carrides. Recently, his production of Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things was selected as a regional finalist in the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival. He directed Tannhauser: The Play at the Obie award winning Ice Factory Festival and before that he staged Clifford Odet's Rocket to the Moon at Soho Rep and Golden Boy at the Raw Space. He has staged the Off-Broadway hit revival of Rod Serling's Requiem For A Heavyweight for the Cooper Square Workshop and the award winning Off-Broadway revival of Sam Shepard's Seduced at the Kraine Theater. He has also directed Sounds of a Better World concert at the 92nd Street Y with Geoffrey Holder, Odetta and the Boys Choir of Harlem. He directed Richard Vetere's Rockaway Boulevard and Gangster Apparel for the Belmont Italian-American Playhouse, as well as, Mr. Vetere's The Engagement at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles. His production of David Mamet's American Buffalo ran to critical acclaim and a four-month run at the Elyze Theater in Athens, Greece. Some New York shows include: White Noise by Gino DiIorio, La Compagnie by Oren Safdie at LaMama as part of the Series Canada, Asylum by Steven Sater, who won the Tony Award for Spring Awakening, at the Greenwich Street Theater, The Nest by Franz Xaver Kroetz at the Galleria, Sam Shepard's Action and the American premiere of Sarah Daniel's Masterpieces at the Cherry Lane Theater. Clark Carmichael

This year, Clark Carmichael has appeared as Nick in Expecting Isabel at Dreamcatcher Rep, Michael in Dead Certain at the Bickford Theatre and George Deever in All My Sons at Two River Theater Company. Clark played a Jumper on Broadway in Tom Stoppard’s Jumpers directed by David Leveaux and starring Simon Russell Beale. Regionally, he has appeared at the Missouri Repertory Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, The Theatre Project, Mill Mountain Theatre, The Acting Company, Hope Summer Rep, Apple Tree Theatre, New York State Theatre Institute, and the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C. On television, Clark appeared on As The World Turns, Campbell Scott’s film Hamlet and will appear this season on Law & Order and Kidnapped. Clark holds a M.F.A. in acting and directing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and BS in speech with a major in theatre from Northwestern University. Ames Adamson

Ames Adamson has played in seven NJRep productions, Panama (as the Everyman) and Maggie Rose (as Mr. Deluca), the co-production with The Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey of Circumference of a Squirrel (as Chester, et al) and Old Clown Wanted (as Niccolo), Tilt Angel (as Red), Tour de Farce (as Man et al), and Engaging Shaw (as G. Bernard Shaw) as well as a dozen or so staged readings, including presenting one of his own plays Bug Chasers in a reading, and four Theatre Brut plays. He has also directed two short plays for the Theatre Brut Festival. one play in this year's Sacrifice called Where Things Are. 2007 credits include: A Christmas Carol and Henry V at the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Tour de Farce at the Penguin Rep in Stony Point NY, and Driving Miss Daisy at Riverside Theater of Vero Beach, FL. Other Regional credits include: Circumference of a Squirrel at the Shadowlands Theatre in Ellenville, NY, Greater Tuna at the Actors Theatre of Atlanta, Merry Wives of Windsor, Illyria, Love's Labour's Lost, and King John at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, where he also toured with Shakespeare LIVE!, the educational touring company, as well as Foreign Exchange at Playwrights Theatre of NJ, and a wild British farce called The Lying Kind at What Exit? Duncan Rogers

New Jersey 's largest daily, The Star Ledger, calls him "One of the states most impressive young performers".  He is the founder and executive producer of Freshwater Films, LLC whose second film, The Reader starring Elizabeth Franz and Morgan Hallett is in post production. The Company's first film, The Ables House is Green recently screened at the Vermont International Film Festival and is under consideration at a number of other festivals around the world. As an actor he was most recently seen as Hamilton Orr in the Bickford Theater production of Smoke and Mirrors . Before that as Tranio in Taming of the Shrew at North Shore Music Theater in Beverly Ma. Dr. Jim Tennyson in Ira Levin's melodrama Dr. Cooks Garden at the Bickford Theater. Mark in Emily Mann's Still Life with the Women's Theater Cooperative in Madison, NJ; Alfred Allmers in Ibsen's Little Eyolf at the Century Center for the Performing Arts in NYC, where he had previously appeared as Dr. Relling in The Wild Duck. First Night at the Bickford Theater in NJ and the critically acclaimed production of Naked By The River with The New Jersey Repertory Co. NYC credits include Becoming Becoming at The Flatiron Theater, Desperations at Theater for the New City, Durang, Durang and More Durang with the American Globe Theater; The Ball of Roses and The Richardson Exhibit with Theatrix, The Time of Your Life with Chain Lightning, 12th Night with SOS Productions. Regional credits include Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive in Maine, Lenny in Rumors, Horatio in Hamlet, and Max in The Real Thing with The Hilberry Rep Co in Detroit. Max has been acting since the age of 6. He made his Broadway debut in The King and I starring Yul Brynner and traveled with the National Tour, both directed by Mitch Leigh. He has also done National Tours of South Pacific starring Richard Kiley and South Pacific directed by Geraldine Fitzgerald and starring Robert Goulet. He originated the role of Michel in the musical Roza starring Georgia Brown, directed by Hal Prince. Max was featured in the TV Movie, Intimate Strangers with Stacy Keach and Teri Garr, and has made appearances on The Cosby Show, Kate and Alley and The Bloodhound Gang. He also appeared in The Children’s Story which was written and directed by James Clavell. In addition, Max has appeared in national commerials, voice-overs, industrial films and music videos, and was seen on the cover and between the pages of numerous magazines and periodicals, including the New York Times Magazine, photographed by Richard Avedon.

Neal Arluck

Neal Arluck most recently appeared in New Jersey at Tri-State Actors Theater as Van Helsing in Passion of Dracula and Mr. Dussel in The Diary of Anne Frank and played the title role in Bill Mesce's The Advocate at 12 Miles West Theatre Company. He made his NJ Rep mainstage debut as Grandpa in Mike Folie's Panama and has performed in staged readings of Dix Tableaux, Lapse Of Reason, The Seventh Monarch, Ride The Dark Cars, Greetings From Neptune and The Ant Farm. He was the sound designer for Winterizing The Summer House and Emil. Neal performed at the Hilton Head Playhouse in South Carolina where he created the roles of Uncle Pumblechook and Mr. Wemmick in the world premiere of John Jakes and Mel Marvin's musical adaptation of Dickens' Great Expectations. He appeared with the Queen City Stage Company in Poughkeepsie in Greater Tuna, in which he played ten characters and made 24 costume changes. Neal can be seen and heard (all three lines worth) in Woody Allen's film Celebrity. He has performed several times at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Ohio, most recently as Ali Hakim in Oklahoma. Neal has appeared Off-Broadway in Perfect Diamond with Josh Mostel, The Hooch with Kevin Hooks and the revival of Woody Allen's Play It Again Sam. Other New York performances have included Joseph Heller's Catch-22, Agatha Christie's Black Coffee and the premiere of Nicky Silver's The Nasty Bits.

Reginald Metcalf

Reginald most recently appeared in The Winters Tale at La Mama ETC. He has performed at Victory Gardens and the Pegasus Players in Chicago; The Kennedy Center, Source and other theaters in Washington, DC; The Kitchen Theater (Ithaca, NY), The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and a several Off-Off Broadway theaters. His favorite roles include Ulysses (Troilus and Cressida), Aafaa (Madmen & Specialists), Lloyd (Lloyd's Prayer), Deflores (The Changeling), and the Pimp (Edmond). Reginald received his BS in Speech from Northwestern University and his MFA in Performance from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His multimedia performance works include Act V, Scene 2, Live/Set and How You Like It (2005). Reginald is also a voice over actor.

Gregory Mikell

Gregory (AEA SAG) holds a BA in drama from Jacksonville State University, has trained at NYC's National Shakespeare Conservatory, is currently attending The Actors Studio Drama School as he works toward his MFA and is proud to be a member of the New Jersey Repertory Company. Recent work includes The role of The Gentleman Caller in an adaptation at Creative Artist Lab; Wings Theatre Company's adaptation of Richard The Lionheart while rehearsing with Stage East ensemble for a production of Lee Blessing's A Walk In The Woods in the role of John Honeyman. Soon after, he played the role of Kulygin in Chekhov's Three Sisters at The American Theatre of Actors. Other credits include: The Memory Orchestra at HERE Art Center, Welcome To Our City by Thomas Wolfe at The Mint Theatre, a tour with TheatreWorks USA's The Color of Justice by Cheryl Davis and various play readings. Other favorite roles include Antipholus of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors, Cloten in Cymbeline, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Hoke in Driving Miss Daisy . Clark Gookin

Clark Gookin is a Colorado native.  New York credits: Shelf: A Tragety at 45 Degrees.  Regional credits: She Stoops To Conquer and Tartuffe, at Centenary Stage; Midsummer Night’s Dream and Scapin, at Mile Square Theatre; Twelfth Night and three productions of A Christmas Carol, at Tri-state Actors Theater; Colorado Quickies, at The New Denver Civic Theatre; and The Country Club, at Alliance Rep.  He earned his MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, and his BFA from the University of Evansville.

 

Jim Ligon

Jim Ligon is very pleased to join the company at New Jersey Rep. Most recently Jim created the role of Joe Spinelli in the hilarious new off-off Broadway comedy, Skin Deep by Jon Lonoff. He appeared in Heathen Valley and A Woman Without a Name, both in the Romulus Linney season at Signature Theatre Company, and played Paul in the New York premiere of Jim Grimsley's The Lizard of Tarsus. For several seasons he was the irrepressible and wacky Aunt Linda, and Martin the "mild mannered temp with a gun", in the late night comic serials Ailanthus Grove and SPYZ at various theatres in New York. Among his many regional theatre credits he counts as favorites Greater Tuna (6 different productions), Waiting for Godot, How the Other Half Loves, Speed the Plow, ART, The Foreigner, and A Midsummer Nights Dream. New Jersey audiences have see Jim in Radium Girls at Playwrights Theatre, and in All in the Timing, The Dining Room, and Below the Belt with the What Exit? Theatre Company. Jim Donovan

Jim Donovan (A.E.A.) has acted locally, Off-Broadway and in regional theatres throughout the country, including Theatre for a New Audience, La Mama, and Riverside Shakespeare in NYC; South Coast Repertory and others in California, and Theatre at Monmouth, Oldcastle Theatre and Portland Stage in New England. At New Jersey Repertory, Jim served as Director and Actor in  Tomorrow's Promise, a project he helped to develop in response to the events of 9-11-01. In addition, Jim appeared as the Cellist in the premiere of Octet. He has also participated in many of NJ Rep's staged readings. In addition to his work at NJ Rep, Jim made an Equity Special Appearance in the title role in Barnum at Holmdel Theatre Company. Prior to that, Jim served as Faculty Guest Artist at Monmouth University, appearing as Galileo in Brecht's Galileo and Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey. In addition to playing numerous roles in classical and contemporary plays, Jim has performed in musical theatre and operatic productions, including work with the Monmouth Civic Chorus and Monmouth Conservatory of Music. Jim has enjoyed directing as well, from children's opera to college and professional productions. He directed, scene-designed and wrote music for a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Holmdel Theatre Company. Currently, Jim is working hard to create a Cultural Arts & Enrichment Center so that music and arts may play a greater role in his town, Holmdel, NJ. He holds an MFA in Acting from the University of California at Irvine. He has taught Acting and Theatre courses there, at Monmouth University, and for the Holmdel Township Recreation Department. Jim has been a member of the NJ Rep company since 1998.

Barney Fitzpatrick

Barney's latest film, A Normal Life, written and directed by Dewey Moss is enjoying great success as an Official Selection by festivals domestically and internationally including New Zealand and Manila. The film has also been selected as the Winner of the Best Feature Debut of The 2003 Q Cinema International Film Festival. Other film credits include Bravo Giorgio, Hollywood, PA and Woody Allen's Mighty Aphrodite. His TV credits include a co-starring role in the mini-series A War of China's Fate, three years in a recurring role on All My Children and a recurring role this past season on Law & Order, including the season opener of Ed with Danny DeVito, and the Chappelle Show. New York theatre credits include the Off-Broadway production of The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, Stealing Fire at SOHO Rep and Moony's Kid Don't Cry at the Westside Art's Theater. He was producer and founding member of The Artist's Theatre Company where he appeared in productions of The Perfect Party and Social Security. This is his return to NJ Rep where he originated the role of Captain Lob in the world premiere production of The Girl with the High Rouge and participated in several readings for their script in hand series. Most of all, he thanks his beautiful wife, Donna, for her love and unending support.

Marc Geller

NJ Rep credits include: Sidney Webb in Engaging Shaw on the Main Stage and the Theatre Brut 2005 and 2008 Festivals as well as several readings as an actor and as a director. Marc recently directed the world premiere of the new Off-Broadway show Acts of Love at the Kirk Theatre on Theatre Row. Other directing credits include Julie Jensen's Two-Headed at the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, MA, Souvenir at StageWorks/Hudson in Hudson, NY, the world premiere of the hit Off-Broadway show Ascension at the Lion Theatre on Theatre Row and the world premiere of The Fabulous Kane Sisters in Box Office Poison at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC. Recent acting credits include the world premiere of Stephen Temperly’s new play The Pilgrim Papers directed by Vivian Matalon at the Berkshire Theatre Festival and The Mystery of Irma Vep as Nicodemus, Lady Enid, Alcazar and Pev Amri at The Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, CT. Marc has appeared in over 70 productions in NYC, including the world premieres of The Frankenstein Summer (Lord Byron), Naked Will (Oscar Wilde), The Blue Flower (Typewriter Man), Bomber Jackets (Erica), Prince Hal (Irwin), Box Office Poison (L. Kane) and the first NYC revivals of Shopping and Fucking (Brian), Unidentified Human Remains and The True Nature of Love (David), Bent (Rudy) and Exit The King (Berenger I). David Sitler

David Sitler is thrilled to be on the roster of men at NJ Rep.  He will be seen next at Luna Stage in A Beautiful Home for the Incurable.  He has worked on Broadway (An Inspector Calls), and around the NYC area with over 16 theatre companies as well as regionally from Maine to Utah at Ford's Theatre, TN REP, Charlotte Rep, Swine Palace, Human Race, Surflight, Centenary Stage, Trump Plaza, Clarence Brown and Luna Stage to name a few playing roles from "Peck" in How I Learned to Drive, "Atticus" in To Kill A Mockingbird, "Robert" in Betrayal...twice..."Morgan" in the Drawer Boy...twice, "Serge" and "Marc" in ART, "Gene" in Side Man.   He has played lead roles in the outdoor dramas Blue Jacket and Utah! and the titular role in Tecumseh. TV credits include Law and Order-SVU, Now and Again, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and the award winning films Ghetto Dawg, and Treeshade and the soon to be released Life's Decision.  When not onstage he has played the web wonder Spider-Man around the world for Marvel Comics.  He is married to actor Carolyn Popp.

Peter Bisgaier

Some of Peter’s favorite roles include Mr. Orange in the NY Stage Premier of Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs (Empire Theatre Co.), Jonathan Harker in Dracula (Delaware Theatre Co.), Faulkland in The Rivals (Horse Cave Theatre), the title role in The Nerd (Phoenix Theatre), and Clive/Cathy in Cloud Nine (Green Room Theatre, L.A.). He is co-founder and Producing Artistic Director of the Empire Theatre Company which most recently produced the controversial Roberto Zucco in NYC. He is also a playwright and his adaptation of the novel Choke by Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club), had its first public staged reading this September 2003. Peter is a graduate of the Michael Howard Studios Professional Conservatory and has been associated with the studio since 1998. Peter would like to thank his wife, Corinna, and his family for their continued support.

John Morton

John Morton has lived and worked all over the northeast. Roles include Ferdinand in The Tempest and Dorset in Richard III (Maine Shakespeare Festival), Gilbert in Anne of Green Gables (Penobscot Theater), Claudio and Elbow in Measure for Measure (Theater Cooperative), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Footlight Club), Cinesias in Lysistrata (Queens Players), John F. Kennedy in Road to Freedom (Theater Garden), and several roles in Wildlife Theater at the Central Park Zoo. John is a member of the Actor's Equity Association and studies at the T. Schreiber Studio with Terry Schreiber.

Brian Patacca

Brian most recently completed shooting Pastoral, an independent film on location in the Adirondacks. Other film credits include Trans (lead), Burp (lead), Broken Eros (supporting). He has appeared on As The World Turns, All My Children; and VH1's Games People Play where he won the grand prize in the actors' game show. Off-Broadway he was part of the original cast of John Fisher's Joy and shook his groove thing nightly in the runaway disco hit, The Donkey Show. He has appeared with TVI Consultant Kate Tellers as husband and wife in Horticultural Therapy at The American Globe Theater. Regionally he has been seen with The Provincetown Theatre Company as The Third Man in Paula Vogel's The Baltimore Waltz and in The Dead Boy as the title role. Provincetown also saw him as Perry in Love! Valour! Compassion! Media, Pennsylvania audiences saw him as Pharaoh and Napthali in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Internationally Brian has been seen with The Honeyboys (think The Monkees meet N'Sync). Brian received his bachelors degree in theatre from Northwestern University and is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

Scott Schafer

Off Broadway Scott recently played Lester in the world premier of Long Island Sound, a never before produced Noel Coward play. On Broadway he was Raggedy Andy in Raggedy Ann, after touring with the show to the Kennedy Center and Moscow. Regional credits include Ziggy in Sideman at The Rep in St. Louis, Fred in Present Laughter and Groucho in A Day in Hollywood...at the Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City, Hysterium in Forum at the Ordway Theatre in St. Paul, and Motel in Fiddler at the Cleveland Opera. Scott is a member of The Actors Company Theatre (TACT) in New York and has appeared in 22 plays with the company, including Mornings at Seven, Light Up The Sky, and The Man Who Came To Dinner. Since joining NJ Rep Scott has appeared as Telegin in a reading of Uncle Vanya at Primary Stages, played Hitler in an episode of The Dave Chappelle Show on Comedy Central, and will play Boo in The Marriage of Bette and Boo with TACT.

Cliff Jewell

Cliff Jewell (A.E.A., SAG) received his training at the Drama Studio, London, UK. Recently relocated to New Jersey, he has appeared as Clive in Cloud 9, guest artist Kean University, Union, New Jersey, and as Detective Cole in Stop, Kiss also at Kean. Regional credits include Laertes in Hamlet, and Tranio in Taming of the Shrew at the Tennessee Repertory Company, Oedipus in Oedipus for Theatre Parthenos, Nashville, Bassov in Gorky's Summerfolk, and Gunner in Shaw's Misalliance at L.A. Repertory, Los Angeles, for which he was nominated for an Ovation Award as Best Featured Actor. Cliff's performance as Mark Twain in Sam Clemens and the Real Mark Twain has been seen nationally and on PBS. As a member of Young Audiences of New Jersey he brings the life and works of Mark Twain into New Jersey schools with the program, 'Twain You and Me. Cliff has adjunct taught classes in Period Styles in Acting for Kean University and has choreographed over 30 armed and unarmed stage combats.

Christopher Daniels

Christopher [AEA, SAG, AFTRA] is delighted to be a member of the New Jersey Repertory Company. He has served as Dance Consultant for the Broadway shows The Last Night of Ballyhoo with Paul Rudd and Arija Bareikis, Mixed Emotions with Katherine Helmond and Harold Gould and the Off-Broadway Fortune's Fools. Christopher danced in the Disney Version of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs [Broadway and National Tour] at Radio City Music Hall. His television experience includes; Sex and the City and Oz for HBO, Law & Order, One Life to Live, All My Children, Guiding Light, Another World and Ryan's Hope. Christopher can be seen in the feature films The Thomas Crown Affair, Analyze This, Simply Irresistible, Celebrity and The Fisher King. He worked as a dancer in the features Cradle Will Rock and The Impostors. Some of his stock credits include: Applause!, The Lion in Winter, The Boyfriend, and The Apple Tree. He has appeared in various print advertisements, commercials and industrials. Christopher spent a number of years as a professional ballroom dancer competing in International Latin and Smooth. He resides in Manhattan and Ocean Grove, N.J.


Chris Harcum

Actor and playwright Chris Harcum (AEA) has performed his one-man shows, Anhedonia Road, Gotham Standards and Some Kind of Pink Breakfast, at FringeNYC, Thunder Bay Fringe Festival, Virginia Film Festival and the University of Virginia. His New York credits include Krogstad in A Doll's House and Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. Regionally, he has played Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Mozart in Amadeus, Buff in Suburbia, Scoop in The Heidi Chronicles and Mark in Mass Appeal. Chris holds a BFA in Acting from UNC-Greensboro and an MFA in Acting from University of Virginia.

Kenneth Lee

A native of Singapore, Kenneth has directed, written and performed both in the United States and internationally. He wrote and directed Papercranes, Life is but a Dream and Suite One: Justice, a short film. Acting credits in Asia: Arsenic and Old Lace, Death of a Salesman, Lovers and Other Strangers, Twelfth Night, The Cherry Orchard. He also appeared in the Asian television sitcom Under one Roof. New York credits include: The Rimers of Eldritch, The Robbers, The Sound of a Voice, Richard III and The Tempest. West Coast credits include: Son of Arlecchino, The Winters’ Tale, Leonce & Lena, The Water Engine. Most recently, he appeared in New Jersey Shakespeare Festival’s production of Pericles directed by Gabrielle Barr and won an Off-Off Broadway Review Award for founding his theatre company Method2Madness. Kenneth made the Dean's List and received his BFA at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He held a triple major in English, Cinema, and Acting, and graduated with high honors. He also trained at the Public Theatre’s Shakespeare Lab in NYC. He recently received his MFA in Acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.

John FitzGibbon

John played opposite Loretta Swit in A Passionate Woman at the Coconut Grove Playhouse. He was a founding member of Jean Erdman's Theatre of the Open Eye (OBIE nomination for the lame beggar in W.B. Yeats' Cat and The Moon). In Hawaii, he collaborated with Ms. Erdman on Gauguin in Tahiti and in Athens, Greece with her late husband Joseph Campbell. Regionally, he has performed at the Mark Taper Forum, NY Public Theatre, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, the New Globe Theatre, Barter Theatre, New Repertory Theatre (Best of Boston Award for Jim Tyrone in Moon for the Misbegotten), and The Caldwell Theatre (Carbonell Nomination for Nick in Sight Unseen). He also worked on Broadway with Richard Kiley in The Incomparable Max! Film credits: Exorcist III, Run and No Things But Green Lights. Television: Pearl, The Islander, Equal Justice, several Hawaii 5-O's and all the soaps. At NJ Rep, John appeared in Piaf in Vienna, The Play's the Thing and Immortal Interlude. Aaron Vieira

Aaron Vieira recently moved to New York from Chicago where he performed regularly at Improv Olympic and the No Exit Cafe. He is a graduate of training programs at The Second City, the Actor's Center, and Carnegie Mellon University. Two of his most inspiring teachers have been Del Close and the legendary Marcel Marceau. While still in the Windy City, he acted in Rainer Fassbinder's Blood on the Cat's Neck at Trapdoor and in the premiere of Roberto Zucco at European Repertory. He is a former ensemble member of Imagination Theater, and has worked professionally in commercials and industrials. Since moving to New York, he has performed in Carlos Morton's The Many Deaths of Danny Rosales, and played a Harbor Cop in Exiled, an NBC movie of the week. He is very pleased to join the acting company of New Jersey Rep and to be a part of Adult Fiction.

Rob Buntzen

Rob has performed in the theatre, on film and television and in the ballet. He received his BFA in drama/dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music. He went on to dance with the Hartford Ballet and Roland Petit's Ballets de Marseille. Rob appeared Off-Broadway as Ratface Dugan in Red, Hot and Blue and with the Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival's Take One Step, directed by Gerald Freedman. Television performances include Mr. Farmer on Ed and Andrew Croft on Law and Order: SVU. Rob can be seen in Woody Allen's Small Time Crooks as Mr. Carter. He will be in the upcoming City by the Sea with Robert DiNiro and the independent film Cugini.

Ian August

Ian August has been a company member with NJ Rep since October 2000. Company credits include Tilt Angel (Ollie) (October, 2005), Raft of the Medusa (Tommy), Immortal Interlude and Mike Folie’s Panama (Grannie). He was also fortunate enough to perform as a special guest artist with Christine Lavin in her one woman show, Getting in Touch with My Inner B*tch. New York appearances include The Sound of Waves (Mabou Mines), Glue (The Cherry Lane Alternative Theater), The Book of Job (La MaMa), and Presumed Retarded (Manhattan Theater Source). Additional NJ regional credits include The Compleat Wrks of William Shakespeare (Abridged), The Big Bang, The Santaland Diaries (Tri-State Actor's Theater), A Funny Thing...Forum, Pageant, Picasso at the Lapin Agile(Forum Theatre Company), Forever Plaid and Crimes of the Heart (Bickford Theater). In addition to stage acting, Ian is a voice over actor, lyricist and playwright. Two of his ten minute plays were produced at NJ Rep’s Theater Brut in March, 2005: Abraham on the Mount and Le Supermarche or What I Did For Lunch.

Duane Noch

Duane Noch made his NJ Rep debut in The Laramie Project. Regional credits include: The Laramie Project at Hartford TheaterWorks; Light Up the Sky at Two River Theatre Co.; The Last Night of Ballyhoo at The Forum Theater; How I Learned To Drive at Hartford TheaterWorks; Twelfth Night at Virginia Stage Co.; Othello at Great Lakes Theatre Fest.; and A Lie of the Mind at Euclid Theatre. NYC work includes: Taming of the Shrew at Hawk and Handsaw Productions; The Dance Lesson at Joe's Pub; The O. Henry Conspiracy at Metro Playhouse; FUN! at John Houseman Studio Theatre; and Zastrozzi at Primary Stages. Duane has played Oliver Peltz on Law & Order; and has done several commercials. He received his MFA from Rutgers, Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Douglas Brautigam

Douglas divides his time between acting and directing. Earlier, in the last millennium, he found a home in New York City with The National Shakespeare Company’s experimental theatre, The Cubiculo. He was active on stage, back stage and especially off stage. Douglas went on to become a founding member of Tonight We Improvise (Manhattan Theater Club), The Portable Radio Circus (Regional Touring Company) a producer/director of young peoples’ theater (BAM, Henry Street Playhouse, etc.), a founding member of The Atlanta Repertory Theatre and has performed in various film, TV and radio projects. He attended NYU’s Professional Acting Conservatory where he studied with Peter Kass, Ron Van Lieu, Olympia Dukakas and once argued with Sanford Meisner during a Master Acting Class. Favorite stage productions include: The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Loot, To Kill A Mockingbird, Beyond Therapy, Diary of Anne Frank and Cabaret. Recent directing assignments include; The Beauty Queen of Leenane, What the Butler Saw, Death and the Maiden and Flowers for Algernon. Doug is an enthusiastic new member of NJ Rep and looks forward to working with this distinguished ensemble.

Gary Martins

Gary's most recent N.Y. appearance was in The Famous Ghost Monologues, at the Abdingdon Theatre, and prior to that, in Meeting, a finalist for the Samuel French Festival. A long time member of 12 Miles West Theatre Co. in Montclair, he was Dimitri in the New Jersey premiere of The Brothers Karamozov, and part of the award-winning trio in A Complete History of America: Abridged. Other NJ credits include Search and Destroy, All The Rage, A Good Kid, Italian American Reconcilliation, and Four Dogs and a Bone, to name a few. As a director, Gary has helmed everything from musical comedy to the classics, with several hailed on "Best of Season" lists. Gary recently lent his voice to narrate the independent film The Accord.


Patrick McNulty

Patrick McNulty was last seen as Angelo in Measure For Measure for Real Time Theatre. Before his recent move to NYC, he toured nationally with the Off-Broadway one-man show, Fully Committed. He is a founding member of Roadworks Productions in Chicago with whom he has performed in countless productions including Suburbia (Midwest premiere), Was, The Lights (Midwest premiere), Lion in the Streets, and his own one man show about the life and work of E.E. Cummings, E.E. Cummings;As Is. Other credits include: The Miser (Geva Theatre); The Threepenny Opera, The Misanthrope, and the title role in Pericles (A.C.T.); Tartuffe and The Philadelphia Story (Court Theatre); The Picture of Dorian Gray (Wisdom Bridge Theatre).

Douglas Taurel

Douglas Taurel originates from Texas. Performed George in Of Mice and Men (dir. by Pat Diamond) at Urban Stages, Lee & Austin in True West (dir. by Tim Phillips) at the New York Irish Center and Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland where it received a 4 and 5 star reviews. Other credits: The Ring (dir. by Stephen Jobes), Edward Albee’s Workshop (dir. Edward Albee), The New York Shakespeare Project, Abingdon Theater, The Drilling Company, Looking Glass Theater, Naked Angles, Trilogy Theater, The Rope by Plautus (The Strand Theater), The Lost Colony (Wayside Theater N.C. dir. Fred Chappell) New York’s Fringe Festival, New York’s Strawberry Festival (Finalist), Chilean Classic Hechos Consumados (dir. Martin Balmaceda at Northwestern University). David Volin

The Women of Lockerbie marks David’s fourth appearance with NJ Rep, (not counting Theatre Brut) having last been seen in their critically acclaimed production of Klonsky & Schwartz under the direction of SuzAnne Barabas. Previous NJ Rep credits include The Laramie Project, and Raft of the Medusa. Some of David's other performing credits include Moll at the Walnut Street Theatre, Little Murders and The Underpants with Shadow Lawn Stage, Dirty Blonde with the Women’s Theater Company, Lost in Yonkers with The Theater Project, rogerandtom with Personal Space Theatrics, two productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream with Tri State Actors Theater and Holmdel Theatre Company, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Art, and On the Verge or the Geography of Yearning, all with Tri-State Actors Theatre. David also has various Film, Commercial, Industrial, and Voice Over credits that round out his body of work. A graduate of New York University, David has also taught the Michael Chekhov Technique in NYC and Chicago.

Burt Brooks

Burt Brooks recently received his BFA in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.  He has also recieved classical training for a full school year at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, England.  Since his graduation in May '06 he originated the role of Joe in the world premiere of The Revenants by Scott T. Barsotti at The Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC.  Recent film credits include:  Murder Mysteries (Starring), Degeneration (Supporting), The Emperor of Ice Cream (Supporting), and Cluster (Supporting opp. Corey Feldman).  While at Shakespeare's Globe he appeared in Troilus and Cressida (Achilles) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Demetrius).  Rutgers theatrical credits:  the main stage production of Audrey (Sam), Hoops (Mr. Stertz), Spliced Life (Multiple), and A Peace Between War (Multiple).

Robert Fass trained with Uta Hagen. He appeared opposite Theodore Bikel in the hit off-Broadway production of The Gathering at Playhouse 91. Other venues include Soho Rep, Hartford Stage, MCC PlayLab, Ontological-Hysteric Theater, Mile Square, the Papp Public, NJ Rep, Premiere Stages, Manhattan Punch Line, Equity Library Theatre, Copacabana, Rainbow Room, and the Toyota Comedy Festival. In 2006, celebrated author Ray Bradbury hand-picked Robert to narrate the audiobook of his new novel, Farewell Summer (the sequel to his beloved classic Dandelion Wine). Robert has co-founded numerous successful comedy groups, including DC's Gross National Product, NYC's Some Assembly Required, and Radio Free Association, his improvised children's radio drama series which aired on NPR. Also a photographer, writer, director and prize-winning playwright, Robert has received several fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, The Saltonstall Foundation, Caldera, Fundación Valparaíso in Spain and the Julia & David White Colony in Costa Rica. He has received international acclaim for his ongoing photo essay on long-married couples in America, entitled As Long As We Both Shall Live, which was exhibited at the 92nd Street Y in New York City and is touring Europe through 2008. Gary Lamadore

Gary had a blast this past summer entertaining audiences as Polonius in a NYC parks tour of Hamlet. His numerous NYC Theatre credits include the role of Saul Kimmer in The National Shakespeare Company's Special Presentation of True West (Chelsea Playhouse), the doomed Cradeau in No Exit (Playwrights Horizons Summerfest), Oliver Edwards in Return Engagements ( Mint Theatre) and a number of original plays at such theatres as The Ensemble Studio Theatre; La Mama; Theatre For The New City; P.S. 122; The Currican Theatre; The Miranda Theatre Company; The West Side Rep and on Theatre Row the Harold Clurman, Samuel Beckett and Judith Anderson Theatres. He can be seen on second season re-runs of the hit HBO series The Sopranos as "Chuckie" the detective opposite mob boss Uncle Junior. Other TV and film includes One Life To Live;Guiding Light;The Dana Carvey Show and many corporate and independent films.

Kevin Neil Cheatham

He is the founder/ director/ songwriter and playwright of his own theatre group, The Kevin Cheatham Players based in his hometown, Atlantic City, N.J. His works include; Crack House, What Does the Future Hold For The Children? I Wanna Make It Too Heaven, A Singers Disguise, just to name a few. Kevin recently completed the soulful musical, Little Ms. Red (based on Little Red Riding Hood) as well as his one man show/ concert Kevin Cheatham Talkin a Whole Bunch Of Trash and Than Some. His song, The Lonely World of a Star has been performed by soap opera star, Grace Garland in her night club act. Kevin dedicates his work to his family and friends for their continued support, and to his agent and to the memory and honor of his parents, Laura R. Cheatham and Lee Ernest Davis and to his sister Diane. God is good all of the time.

Cary Woodworth

Cary is extremely excited to be a member of the NJ Repertory Company and the great theater that it creates. He can't wait to begin his trek as Will Draper in the upcoming East Coast premiere of The Dead Boy by Joe Pintauro. Cary grew up in East Brunswick, NJ and began his professional theatre experiences with Elliot Taubenslag's Children's Theater touring the tri-state area as characters in plays such as Pinnochio, Peter Pan, and the Rotten Princess. During high school, Cary performed in many shows at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick including, Fiorello, Evita, and The Sound of Music. His performance as Sundar in Runaways, directed by Vince DiMura not only received a lot of attention, but was an amazing creative experience for Cary. During this period, he also attended SAI, the New Jersey Summer Arts Institute, where he auditioned and selected to be the host of the closing night ceremonies. Cary attended Rutgers College, graduating in Economics. After college, Cary attended the William Esper Studio, studying Meisner for two years. Since then he has studied with Wynn Handman and Cary took on parts in films such as The Money Shot, TV Movie Mary and Rhoda and Third Watch. He's has also performed in two plays Off-Broadway in New York. Currently, he is producing a high concept feature film that he wrote, stars in and shoots in late summer.

Stephen Carrasco

Stephen also spent one summer performing at Hershey Park in Pennsylvania. Proud member of Actor's Equity.

Ugo Toppo

Ugo N. Toppo has performed since childhood when he was featured on network radio. His bass-baritone voice was and remains well demonstrated in commercials, musicals, night clubs and critically acclaimed spoken recordings of Poe, O'Henry, Ambrose Bierce and others. Mr. Toppo's on-stage credits are diverse, having performed both regionally as well as on and off Broadway. He has been featured in Taming of the Shrew, Rope, The Nutcracker Suite (portraying Herr Drosselmeyer with the American Ballet Company), Bus Stop, Rashomon, The Cave Dwellers, The Silver Whistle and as Nunzio Cristano in Over The River and Through the Woods at the Actors Playhouse in Florida.; his musical roles include Celebration, South Pacific, King and I, Meet Me in St. Louis, Good Friends, Falstaff, and The Guys From Siracusa (the latter three, world premieres).  For eleven years, Mr. Toppo served as artistic director of Rainbow Theatre at the Stamford Center for the Arts in Connecticut where he staged original plays of interest, not to mention numerous traditional and contemporary classics including Awake and Sing, Butley, That Championship Season (nominated in 1994 as Best Play/Best Director by the CT Critics Circle), The Deadly Game (voted one of the Ten Best Plays of 1993 by the CT newspapers), The Price, The Showoff, They Knew What They Wanted, and the world premiere of the new musical, Marilyn and Joe.  In addition, a teacher of humanities and theatre, he has directed at the Intar Theatre, Lincoln Center, Circle in the Square, Goodman Theatre, Pasedena Playhouse, and ACT, and was Co-founder of Maxwell Anderson Playwrights Series.  Mr. Toppo is delighted to be affiliated with the New Jersey Repertory Company where he has appeared in the play development readings of Hobo Blues and Gerry’s Law as well as the exciting U.S. premiere of Matei Visniec's  Old Clown Wanted.  Lately, he and his wife (actress Linda Meleck) have toured in A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters, most recently at Gulf Harbour Dinner Theatre in Florida.

Michael Irvin Pollard

Michael Irvin Pollard began his career over twenty years ago as a member of the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park Professional Actor Training Program. Most recently he appeared in Art for the Women's Theatre Company in Wayne and Driving Miss Daisy at the Pioneer Valley Summer Theatre in Easthampton, MA. At New Jersey Rep Michael was seen in Richard Strand's hit comedy Ten Percent of Molly Snyder as well as the critically acclaimed production of Rich Orloff's Big Boys, which also had a successful run at Playwright's Theatre of Madison. Mr. Pollard has also performed in both Theatre Brut Festivals as well as a number of staged readings. Other New Jersey credits include performances at The Bickford Theatre (Smoke & Mirrors & You know I Can't Hear You when the Water is Running) and the George Street Playhouse (All My Sons & The Sunshine Boys). In New York Michael is best known as a founding member of the improv companies Clockwise from Left and Prov.Duh, performing at various venues including the West Bank Café, the Avalon Theatre and the old Pearl Theatre. Also an accomplished sketch-comedy writer, he has performed original work at The Present Company and Solo Arts Group as a founding member of the company The Terrible Black Crystal of Grief.

Joseph Pisapia

Joseph Pisapia (AEA, SAG, AFTRA, GIAA, SAFD) is a Brooklyn native who has lived in New Jersey for the last 15 years. He attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he received a B.F.A. in Acting and The Directors' Choice Award for outstanding performance in the lead role of Eddie Carbone in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. At UArts he appeared in numerous productions, most notably Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio) and The Crucible (Giles Corey). Joseph studied classical theatre in Oxford, England at the British American Dramatic Academy with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He is currently studying acting with William Esper at William Esper Studio in NYC. Joseph is a three time Certified/Recommended Advanced Actor Combatant (SAFD) in all weapons and a proud company member of The New Jersey Repertory Company. Recent stage credits include Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Guiderius in Cymbeline at The Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival. Film and TV credits: 100 Centre Street (A&E), Changing Lanes, Bad Company, and as Angelo in the film Hit.

Charlie Deitz

Charlie joined NJRep in 2001, when he appeared in Raft of the Medusa. Since then he has performed in various staged readings or one-acts. He has also worked as Assistant Stage Manager or Assistant Director in a few productions. (When needed, he’s also a pretty good usher). Outside of NJRep, Charlie can be found performing on one of the many local stages in Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties. He usually does five or six shows a year, ranging from Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams to Neil Simon and Agatha Christie. He has also worked in commercial and industrial videos and a few films. In his spare time, he is a volunteer firefighter/EMT.

David Foubert

Hailing from Tacoma Washington, David moved to the east coast to obtain his M.F.A. from the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program. His recent credits include: Getas in The Grouch, Leartes in Hamlet, Fedotik in Three Sisters, and Dr. Pinch in The Comedy of Errors on the main stage at the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. For NJSF's educational touring group, Shakespeare Live!, Hamlet, MacBeth and Bottom. He has also performed at the Colorado and Oklahoma Shakespeare Festivals and in an American Sign Language version of Twelfth Night at the Amyrillus Theater in Philadelphia.

Brian Linden

Brian is happy to be a member of the New Jersey Repertory Company. In New York City, he has appeared in Bartleby the Scrivener with the Blue Heron Theatre, Closer and Fortinbras at the Juilliard School, the revival of The Shanghai Gesture with the Peccadillo Theater Company, and in the title role in Julius Caesar at Shakespeare in the Parking Lot. He has been nominated for two New York Innovative Theatre Awards for The Country Wife with HoNkBarK! Productions at the Vital Theatre and for A Night Near the Sun with the Impetuous Theatre Group. Regionally, he has performed at the San Francisco, Idaho, and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festivals, in Edward II at the American Conservatory Theatre, and in the title role in The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer at the Burning Coal Theatre Company. He has been a member of Actors' Equity Association since 2001.

Ryan Boda

Ryan recently arrived home from a month spent in South America shooting the upcoming feature film Rainbow Raani (see www.rainbowraani.com), and in June, he finished shooting a hilarious short called The Mr. President's Pageant. As a theatre performer, Ryan has originated several roles at The Vortex Theatre Co., starred as D'Artagnon in the Wings Theatre's production of The Three Musketeers, and most recently appeared in It's Karate Kid, The Musical! at the Zipper Theatre. Regionally he has appeared in productions at the Carousel Dinner Theatre, Actors Summer Theatre, Columbus Children's Theatre, Muhlenberg Summer Theatre, Quisisana, Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre and Disney Cruise Lines. Favorite roles include: Tony in West Side Story, Lewis in Pippin, Caleb in The Spitfire Grill, Sky in Guys and Dolls, and Andy in Love Letters. Ryan is a proud member of Actor's Equity and the New Jersey Repertory Company. He graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Michigan.

Eli Ganias

Eli recently appeared at River Union Stage’s production of The Little Prince in Stockton, NJ in the Delaware Valley.  He also had the pleasure of appearing in the premiere of The Poetry of Pizza by Deborah Brevoort (The Women of Lockerbie) at Centenary Stage Company in Hackettstown, NJ. His latest film and television credits include Law & Order (Det. Ristelli), the 2003 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winner and Oscar Nominated film American Splendor with Paul Giamatti, and Sidney Lumet's 100 Centre Street with Alan Arkin. While a fledgling stand-up comedian in New York City, Eli joined the comedy troupe Artificial Intelligence and appeared in their productions of A Very Vicki Christmas and Vicki's Valentine Thing at The Ballroom Cabaret, as well as their long running off-Broadway hit, Tony n' Tina's Wedding. Eli was an original cast member in both New York and Los Angeles, creating the role of Johnny the groom's brother. Other New York and New Jersey theater credits include Lanford Wilson’s The Hot L Baltimore with TACT (NYC), Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Access Theater, NYC), Fast Girls at the What Exit? Company in Maplewood, NJ and David Ives' The Philadelphia at 12 Miles West in Montclair, NJ. Eli has also performed in numerous productions with the Hoboken-based Waterfront Ensemble, including the Samuel French publishing contest winner The Most Perfect Day by Pete Ernst. Bruce Faulk

Bruce was born and bred in the dirty soil of New York.  Since graduating Carnegie Mellon he has been an actor and writer, appearing onstage as Da Voice in Bring in Da' Noise/Bring in Da' Funk at The Public, Francisco in Hamlet at Roundabout and Wally in A Movie Star. with Signature.  Television credits include: the very evil Proteus, on All My Children, Dr. Pinto on One Life To Live and many national commercials.  He has been a member of Primary Stages New American Writers Group and Playwrights Horizons Writers Group.

Shydel James

Shydel James (SAG) is a graduate of The School for Film and Television in NYC. His theatre credits include, Full Bloom at Dreamcatcher Rep., Fences at Alliance Rep. and Suzan-Lori Parks' 365 Days/365 Plays: Week 36 at The Public Theatre. He made his NJ Rep debut in Eric Stannard's one act, West of Moon. Shydel's independent film credits include, Lovestruck, Bloody Money and Rap Quest which is currently available on DVD.  He's also starred in the documentary, For Love of Liberty and can be seen in the Jennifer Lopez produced drama, Feel the Noise. Rob Brown

Rob Brown is extremely pleased to have been brought into the fold of the New Jersey Rep.  After receiving his BFA from Webster University in St. Louis,  Rob wiled away the hours by doing children's theatre with the Imaginary Theatre Company.  He then hotfooted it to Chicago where he became a member of Dolphinback Theatre Co. and Shaw Chicago.  Suddenly, the call came, "New York needs you!" (or something to that effect).  Rob joined The Brothers' Grinn, an improv children's theatre group, to continue his proud tradition of goofing off in front of kids.  Now happily ensconced in his new family, Rob would like to thank anyone he has ever known for influencing his life in some way or another.

Walter Brandes

(AEA): New York credits include: Sergius in Arms and the Man, Sebastian in Twelfth Night, and a number of one-act plays for Pulse Ensemble Theatre where he is a company member; Leontes in The Winter's Tale and Kulygin in The Three Sisters for Stomping Ground Theatre Company; Cassio in Othello for Gorilla Rep;  Ephikhodov in The Cherry Orchard for Boerum Hill Arts Center. Regional credits include:  Cassio in Othello for Yale University and Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream for Bridgeport Shakespeare. Walter has an MFA from The University of South Carolina and a BFA from Avila College in Kansas City. He also completed a one year internship at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC. He currently studies with Cliff Goodwin.

Eben Gordon

Eben has performed throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He started his professional acting career with The Pushcart Players tour of A More Perfect Union. He has been in several independent and student films and is a frequent performer at The Forum Theater in Metuchen. Eben has performed original stage works at Dreamcatcher, and The LaMama Theatre in New York. Favorite Roles to date have been Pippin in Pippin, Jack in Into the Woods, Riff in West Side Story, Henrik in A Little Night Music, and Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Jacob Garrett White

Jacob Garrett White is very happy to be involved with NJ REP! He recently starred in the short film Prom Queen which won a New Line Cinema award and the Cape Cod Film Festival Award. Stage: Old Globe and Goodman Theater's Floyd Collins, New York Shakespeare Festival's Cymbeline, Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati's Keeping the Faith, Barn Theater's Suburbia, Raw Space's Escape From Happiness, International Tour The King and I, Theaterwork's Tour Babes in Toyland. He has a BFA '98 in Dramatic Performance from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM.) Last summer Jacob studied at the Public Theater's Shakespeare Lab with Michael Cumpsty and Ron Van Lieu.

Michael E. Lopez

Recent New York credits: All's Well That Ends Well (Lafew,NY Classical Theatre), Hamlet (Polonius, Manhattan Theatre Source), The Tempest (Prospero, Expanded Arts), new plays-Contracts (American Theatre of Actors), Birthday Pie (John Houseman Theatre), Summer Reading Series with the Pearl Theatre. Regional work with Northern Stage (George Hay in Moon Over Buffalo; Father Jack in Dancing at Lughnasa), the Nevada Shakespeare Festival (title role in Richard III), The Magic Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley Repertory Theatre,and the New Jersey Repertory Company. Two seasons with the International Theatre in Vienna where roles included Serge in Art, Niels Bohr in Copenhagen, Renfield in Dracula, and Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in Sylvia. Michael holds a degree in History and Theatre from Marquette University, and studied at the HB Studio with Sandy Dennis.

Michael S. Kaplan

Michael’s west coast credits include Sight Unseen (Jonathon Waxman), The Unvarnished Truth (Bill), The Substance Of Fire (Martin Geldhart), Castaway (Edmund), Dylan (John Brinnin), and Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead (Guildenstern).  His Chicago credits include Unfinished Business, The Radio Play, Pie: New Plays In Your Face, and Breaking The Code.  Having recently relocated to the East Coast, he has appeared Off-Broadway in Craig Lucas’ adaptation of Miss Julie at Rattlestick Playwrights’ Theatre, Intimate Apparel (Mr. Marks) at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit) at The Arts Center Of Coastal Carolina, and last year in the Theatre Brut Series at New Jersey Rep.  This past summer, he produced and acted in a staged reading of Striptease On A Summer’s Day, an evening of short plays by Slawomir Mrozek, as part of New Jersey Rep’s Script In Hand Series. His television credits include Seinfeld and Saved By The Bell.  He received his training at the North Carolina School of the Arts, Yale Drama School, and American Conservatory Theatre.

William Elsman

Bill is thrilled to be a company member at NJ Rep. Recent credits include Salieri in Amadeus (Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival) and Hotspur in Henry IV (Marin Shakespeare Company). Featured roles in The Buddy Holly Story (Phoenix Productions) and The Adventures of Don Quixote (National Theatre of the Performing Arts) have taken him to over one hundred cities across the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Elsman has performed two summers with the Texas Shakespeare Festival where he starred as Macbeth and was delighted to portray Dr. Anagnos in The Miracle Worker and travel with it to Beijing, China. Other Texas Shakes roles included Baron Carbon in Cyrano De Bergerac, and King Simonides in Pericles. Bill has performed three summers with the Carolinian Shakespeare Festival, as Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Clown from The Winter's Tale. In New York he has appeared in God's Country (Connelly Theatre) and in the musical/comedy Tess' Last Night (New York Fringe Festival). He has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as Argante in Scapin (Shoestring Players). Favorite graduate school credits include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Astrov in Uncle Vanya, The Player in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, and Eteinne in A Flea in Her Ear. Bob Senkewicz

Bob (AFTRA) is an authentic New Jersey product, born and raised.  He studied at Upsala College and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  He has appeared on the NJ Rep stage in the Theater Brut Sacrifice and the readings of Boxes and Lapse of Reason.  His recent stage credits include The Diary of Anne Frank, The Importance of Being Earnest, Tower of Babble (at the Bank Street Theater), Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Bus Stop and The Passion of Dracula (directed by original playwright Bob Hall).  Bob was recently seen as Ken Uston in the series Breaking Vegas on the History Channel.  He has also recently appeared in several independent film projects, including Looking for Harrison (with John Rhys-Davies), Chasing Erections (playing in several festivals in 2005) the film short FREEMAN (shown in several 2004 festivals).  Other television credits include the cable series Rosebay, NY, HBO's Sex and the City and Curb Your Enthusiasm, several commercials and the new CourtTV series Parco PI scheduled to premier in the fall of 2005.  Bob is thrilled to be a part of the NJ Repertory Company.

Hal B. Klein

Hal is delighted to be part of NJ Rep. Recent regional credits include Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors and Barnardo/Gravedigger 2 in Hamlet at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and Mr. Newt Cornerstone Production's Christmas in Connecticut at Foxwoods Casino. NYC credits include Fool in King Lear, Feste in Twelfth Night, Kay in The Snow Queen, and The Commisioner in Lysistrata. Other favorite roles include Alderman Doodle in The London Cuckolds and George Crawn in the US Premiere of Duras' India Song, directed by Les Waters. Hal trained at The London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).

Phil Wilcox

Phil Wilcox most recently appeared at the Commonweal Theatre in Minnesota where he performed the title role in Dracula, Johnny Cantone in 1940's Radio Hour, and Jean in Miss Julie. In New York, he has appeared in productions of Nellie and Truth or Consequences. A native West Virginian, he is a graduate of Marshall University where he appeared as the title role in Macbeth, Walter in Keely & Du directed by Karen Grassle, Roy in Lone Star, and El Gallo in The Fantasticks. At Theatre West Virginia, he appeared in Shenandoah! and Hatfields & McCoys. Other principal roles include: Guys and Dolls, Brigadoon, Black Comedy, School for Wives, Antigone, Hay Fever, The Music Man, and Biloxi Blues. He sang baritone with the 1993 Intercollegiate Barbershop Quartet Champions, Heritage Station, with tours in the United States, Canada and Ireland. A featured performer with the Big Apple Chorus, most recently seen in the HBO documentary, Telling Nicholas, he performed at Lincoln Center and memorial services at G
